DC Section
The DC ACO is the largest ACO since it coincides with the NOAA headquarters in Silver Spring. Officers visiting the area are encouraged to get in touch while you are in town!
DC ACO Board
We meet biweekly to plan ACO activities, allocate resources, and connect with both current and retired members. Our goal is to develop a community resource network that our local members can rely on.

Currently serving as the NESDIS Executive Officer, James is on his second assignment in the DC area. When not on duty, you can find him turning wrenches on cars, cooking BBQ, or spending quality time with his wife Marjorie and puppy, Murphy.

Currently serving as the aviation advisor to the Deputy Director, OMAO Operations and the NOAA Corps at OMAO HQ in Silver Spring, MD. Kevin is a proud girl-dad to two little bundles of joy and you can find him and his family out camping, being near the water, and exploring all this wonderful world has to offer.

LCDR Rachel Pryor
Currently serving as the Marine Advisor to the Deputy Director for OMAO in Silver Spring, MD. When not on Duty, Rachel enjoys scuba diving, hiking, and going to estate sales with her wife Sasha and dog Lu-Sea. She also enjoys going to comedy shows and the theater!

Currently serving as the Cheif of the requirments branch, Remote sensing division in silver spring, MD. He is also a NOAA King Air Pilot. He and his family live in Frederick , MD and enjoys camping with his family and is an avid woodworker.
